Oregon Coast 2013

We had the amazing opportunity to go to the oregon coast with Jason's family, we had a blast! Jason's parents rented a beach house that was amazing, so close to the beach! we explored the beach, the tide pools, flew kites, went running, played games, explored the beach towns, and made a few trips to get salt water taffy and chocolate goodies, and just enjoyed spending time together! Kenzie loved collecting seashells and playing in the sand, she loved seeing the starfish in the tide pools! we also got to meet our sweet new niece Kate! it was definitely hectic with a wild two year old, but man the beach was nice she could just run free. it was a big shock to go from over a hundred degree weather to 80-90 degree weather I think thats what it was, but it was nice! made me more grateful for living in the northwest, though i still do like living in a warm place for now! We spent one day on this really cool lake and went canoeing, kayaking, and paddle boating. kayaking was my favorite, i have never actually kayaked just seen a lot of people do it, it may be one of new favorite things! paddle boating is not my fav. kenzie loved feeding the fish by the dock at the lake, all in all it was a fabulous trip and i am trying to convince jason to live at the beach!
