Catch up!

things with our little family have been busy the last few months! jason was super busy towards the end of his third year of medical school, he ended at the end of june. he started his fourth year in july and we were so grateful because we were able to have the month off, but jason was still studying for a test and took that in the middle of july. we have been able to visit spokane a lot due to jason's schedule. august we were back in milwaukee and jason did a rotation in pediatric ophthalmology and saw some very interesting things he really enjoyed it! (jason has decided to specialize in ophthalmology) september we were back in spokane and had a blast with family! october jason left to go san antonio texas for a rotation and kenzie and i stayed in spokane with family and we have appreciated all the help that we have received from them! jason got back at the end of october and was able to spend halloween with us, which was so great! then in november jason has another month off, but he is interviewing for residency and shadowing doctors to keep himself busy! we are so grateful this year because since we have been married we haven't been able to spend thanksgiving with either of our families due to jason's schedule but this year we get too! we are having so much fun and feel so blessed to have such wonderful family! this year we will have our first christmas as family by ourselves in milwaukee, we are sad that we won't be around family but are excited to have a christmas of our own! kenzie is growing so fast as far as becoming more of a toddler, she still is very small and in the 1st percentile for height and weight. she is such a fun little girl she is very girly and loves all things girl! loves dolls, makeup, lipgloss, purses, and princess dress up clothes. she is a little diva! she is very independent a like things done her way she has a very strong head! she is at such a fun age and is changing everyday, she starts to say new words and phrases everyday! i have been enjoying my time sewing and have been working since i have been in spokane and have had babysitters, it has been a huge blessing to earn a little extra money! i was able to go to a quilt retreat with jason's mom and grandma and aunt, we had a blast i got a lot of projects done that have been in the works for a few years. that about sums up what we have been doing the last few months, i am hoping to be better about blogging this year! it's one of my goals! but bear with me!
